Summary
"For Mia, being herself has always been hard, especially when she's trying to fit into a world that doesn't quite see her true autistic self. But she gets through school armed with her headphones, listening to music to tune out her classmates' bullying. While Mia wishes she could just speak up, she's been able to say what she feels through singing and songwriting while her best friend, Charlie, helps put together the best beats. Together, they've taken the internet by storm. And little do Mia's classmates know that she's the viral singer Elle-Q! But when the chance to perform live has Charlie excited, Mia isn't so sure. She'll have to decide whether she'll let what other people think get in the way of showing everyone, including the bullies, who she is and what she has to say."
