Catherine is doing well; she's got a good job, a close family, loyal friends, 25 years of marriage with no hiccups... When she finds out that Bernard is having an affair, his adultery has less of an effect than the shocking idea of his lies. But who is Bernard, this man who shares her life? Who is this man she thought she knew like the back of her hand? Who are these women that he meets? What does he talk to them about? What does he do to them?! To find out, Catherine meets Marlène, a "friendly barmaid", and entrusts her with a strange mission: she must seduce her husband and find the answers to Catherine's questions.
