Summary
Harry Price called Borley Rectory the most haunted house in England. Strange phenomenon was alleged to occur there, such as bell-ringing, windows shattering, and appearances of ghosts. In 1937, Price rented the mansion for a year with a team of observers to record any phenomenon. In 1939, an oil lamp was accidentally knocked over and the subsequent fire severely damaged the property
