Summary
On the fluid border between reality and fiction, TOUCH ME NOT follows a group of people on an emotional journey to unlock intimacy in their lives, observing as they work to overcome old patterns, defense mechanisms, and taboos. Through the depiction of bodies in their most vulnerable states, filmmaker Adina Pintille challenges her audience to redefine notions surrounding beauty and sexuality, offering uniquely poetic insight into the nature of intimacy and physicality itself. As such, some of the scenes depicted feature actors engaging in sexually explicit acts, which may not be suitable for all viewers. Discretion is advised. Please note that this film features burnt in subtitles for English dialogue, a stylistic choice that is intentional by the filmmakers. Winner of the Golden Bear and Best First Feature Award at the **Berlin International Film Festival.** Official Selection at the **Toronto International Film Festival.** *"Intelligent. Taboo-busting. A body-positive film." - Ed Frankl, **The Film Stage***
