The four The Sugar Girls ebook shorts published in March 2012 at a 99p price point have sold over 80k copies across all ebook editions to date. We have also sold over 28k copies of the extract Karren Brady's 10 Rules for Success from Strong Woman, Karren's business autobiography. We have been able to demonstrate that these ebook shorts have helped rather than cannibalise sales of the core book, as well as reaching and monetising a broader audience for whom price is a key consideration. We will cross-promote the other titles in the series and the original edition from which each short derives in the back of each ebook. Our aim is to be the first publisher to offer a dynamic, designed e-reading experience across all devices, from the most basic black and white ereaders to high-tech colour tablets. The first shorts series will launch with 10 titles and publish October 2012, with more to follow in what will become an ongoing digital ebook series
