Summary
When Corey's mom starts dating, Corey feels like her world is falling apart-can her best friends help?  Corey's parents are divorced, and her mom, Doc Tock, has started seeing a man with a daughter named Alice, who is Corey's age. But the two girls don't have a thing in common. Alice doesn't even like animals! She's nothing like Corey's Pony Tails pals. Everything seems to be going wrong for Corey until she realizes that someone is helping her with small tasks around the house-latching the gate to make sure the puppies don't get out, feeding the ponies, putting her bike in the garage. When Corey learns that it isn't Jasmine or May, she can't help but wonder about the identity of her secret friend
