Summary
Hitman, Angelo Marchetti returns in book two of the Wasteland series, "Last Train to Diavalo." Trapped aboard a Demon Train of the damned, the Hitman must fight to escape if He is to reach the ancient cemetery of the Avalon so that He might live again. However, The Master of the Train, Mr. Stiles has other plans for karma's prodigal son. In this latest chronicle, the Hitman traverses the spiritual boundary that separates realities in order to secure ammunition for Thunder's empty magazine. Then, together with two fellow prisoners, a Young Girl with mystical abilities and an Old Man with a terrible secret, the Hitman must race against the clock before the Demon Moon, otherwise known as the Medusa's Eye, rises. For once the Blood Moon reaches its zenith it will summon forth a remnant army of Fallen Giants as to lay waste to the Train along with all of its Passengers. Inundated by multiple threats on multiple fronts and armed with just His wits and coveted tools of the killing trade, the Hitman once again takes on the Wasteland's harsh realm, this time in search of a legendary sanctuary called "Haven" which supposedly waits at the end of the line. But if this Asylum for lost souls is actually there and if it will receive their kind, let alone offer aid to the Hitman's quest for the Avalon, is a matter that remains to be seen
