Summary

The doors to magical kingdoms and wild adventure open for 10-year-old Krikkit, a very ordinary, schoolgirl, when she tries on the beautiful black shoes she finds under her bed. Her life changes forever, when she is, transported to D'Arragon, a mystical land, where a royal dynasty is under siege from a long forgotten prophecy. The young girl soon discovers the magic of the shoes, traveling through time and discovering magical creatures she has never heard of. Her longing for a fantastical life is, fulfilled as she meets kings, queens, wizards and sorcerers. The only thing she must worry about is, how to get, back home again
