Summary

Mysteriously gifted with the power to rewind time, photography student Max Caulfield never anticipated that her strange temporal abilities would put her at the center of the dark secrets of Arcadia Bay. In a bid to save her oldest friend, Chloe Price, from being murdered and to find justice for the death of Rachel Amber - Chloe's closest confidante - Max's powers caused a hurricane which threatened to destroy Arcadia Bay. Max chose to sacrifice the town rather than lose Chloe once again. Afterwards, Max and Chloe moved to Seattle - but a year later, Max's abilities threatened to tear her apart. To stabalize her powers and her reality, Max jumped to another timeline - where Rachel was still alive. Though two years have passed, Max never forgot where she came from, and now with the help of Tristan - a boy with the power to "phase" out of reality - she's ready to push her powers to their limit if it means finally coming home.
